Lawns are so much more than carpets of grass – they are sanctuaries for our wellbeing.
That’s why GreenThumb partnered with the National Garden Scheme in 2023 to Share The Lawn Love, promoting and supporting the nation’s wellbeing.
Lawns are the centrepiece of many gardens and community spaces and lend definition, diversity and distinction to thousands of gardens that open for the National Garden Scheme each year.
Together with the National Garden Scheme, GreenThumb aims to enable more people to enjoy, and benefit from, their outdoor space.
So, to bring this and the Share The Lawn Love campaign to life, GreenThumb asked their customers to nominate worthy individuals, families or local organisations to receive a year’s worth of free lawn treatments whilst highlighting the importance of a healthy lawn for the environment, for wildlife and for the nominee’s wellbeing. The selected recipients, chosen by National Garden Scheme volunteers reflected our shared commitment to people, communities and the planet.
As part of the partnership, GreenThumb are also donating £10,000 each year to support the nursing and health charities that have benefited from National Garden Scheme donations since 1927.
Over the last 30 years, GreenThumb have adapted their cycle of treatments to deliver green lawns that complete garden visions whilst taking seriously, as the market leader, their environmental responsibilities.
