Philip and Anna Meadway have run their 5 Star Bed and Breakfast for the last 25 years and have always encouraged their guests to explore and enjoy the gardens surrounding their small Georgian House.
Bolstered by the positive feedback of their guests they decided to open for the National Garden Scheme, hoping to raise monies for their many worthwhile causes. After many years of successful openings, the couple took a break but having opened recently with the Ruthin town gardens, they have again been bitten by the bug. Now opening during the week, this makes for less crowds and gives time for that personal touch.
A variety of refreshments are available to be enjoyed in the garden or the large greenhouse.

Welcome to Nicks cabinet workshop on the border between Shropshire and Mid-Wales.
Nick Over has had 33 year experience in making bespoke fine furniture and kitchens of distinction. Nick and his team will design your unique piece and carefully select timber from his stockpile of seasoned Native Hardwoods.
His personal approach will ensure that you will have your kitchens custom made using the best of design and modern technology to achieve a practical kitchen that only years of experience can achieve.
I have taught many budding apprentices in my time as a craftsman and Tudor Jones is our main cabinet maker and after a degree in Art and 8 years of experience with me he has proved an invaluable asset to the team. My most recent apprentice is Ben Jones who after a formal apprenticeship with CIS has proved a valued member of our team.
We make bespoke furniture in Mid-Wales using hardwoods from Shropshire, Cheshire and Powys which we air and kiln dry to ensure stability and sustainability of materials.
