Pressed flower tealight jar

These simple tealight holders are a really pretty way to upcycle glass jars. You can add as few or as many leaves and flowers as you like to create the desired effect.

What you need:

  • Clean dry glass jars
  • Dried flowers or leaves
  • PVA glue
  • Paintbrush
  • Tealight
  • String or ribbon to decorate (optional)

Instructions

Coat your glass jar with a thin even layer of PVA glue.

Place your flowers or leaves where you want them so be on the jar, they will be delicate so once they are down try not to fiddle with the design!

Pop a layer of glue over the top of your flowers to seal them in place.

Complete the look with some string or ribbon around the top of the jar.

Tip; for a softer light, use a layer of white tissue paper on your jar before you add your flowers.
