Unique fern garden with the Plant Heritage National Collection of hart’s-tongue (Asplenium scolopendrium) cultivars. The rock garden is situated on a hillside in Cwm Brefi and the ferns are growing in individual stone circles. There are over a hundred different fern cultivars to see. Access to the collection is via steep steps and rocky paths in a stunning location overlooking Llanddewi Brefi.

Take the youth hostel road out of Llanddewi Brefi & after ¼ m take the 1st R. Follow the narrow lane & take the next sharp L. The garden is further up this lane on the R.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from June to September for groups of up to 10.
