About 12 Strangford Road

The garden has been developed from scratch since 2012. It benefits from a south facing sunny position, running uphill with a central lawn. The greenhouse was installed in 2018 and provides seedlings for a local allotment. The box parterres at the top of the garden attracted blight and caterpillars and been removed but the area re developed in 2023. The garden has 2 espalier apple trees, a crab apple, a victoria plum tree and a mature apple tree. The lower patio is surrounded by railway sleepers and pot plants and the upper patio has a more tropical feel. The pond is 5 years old and has newts, frogs and waterlilies and redeveloped in 2023.
