About 15 New Church Road
This garden has been been created and recreated, constantly evolving over the last 15 years. From the patio area fronted by lawn, an extended pond takes centre stage. A recently added stream extends the natural effect. Wander along the meandering paths to discover varied planting throughout the garden including herbaceous borders, shade loving plants, tree ferns and bamboo. A small stumpery and dry shade area added 4 years ago has now become established. Just when you think you have seen it all you will find a rockery and small woodland area, this extended due to local tree removals, a new opportunity! Towards the rear of the garden are raised vegetable beds, fruit trees, chickens and a small greenhouse to assist the main greenhouse at the other end. A composting system (our system!) works well. Greenhouses, apart from seedlings are used to protect some of the tender perennials such as hedychiums and bananas. Plenty of opportunities to pause, take a seat and appreciate the imaginative planting. Large pots of cannas and gingers.
