With an abundance of mainly herbaceous plants set out into 2 distinct areas: the first was newly constructed 15 years ago with summerhouse, pond and colourful borders, the second more mature garden features larger pond, island beds, bog garden, fruit and vegetable plot, seating areas and quiet gazebo seating area. Also a new patio area.

This garden could be described as a plantswoman’s garden, (although all hard landscaping is done by the male owner. ) There are so many different varieties of plants ; from the Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Iris, Wisteria and bulbs in spring, to the Day lilies, Alstromeria, Helenium, Kniphofia’s, Geraniums, pinks and many varieties of Cottage garden plants in the summer.
A 30ft climbing rose ‘Rambling Rector’ highlights the patio area in late June.
