This garden could be described as a plantswoman’s garden, (although all hard landscaping is done by the male owner. ) There are so many different varieties of plants ; from the Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Iris, Wisteria and bulbs in spring, to the Day lilies, Alstromeria, Helenium, Kniphofia’s, Geraniums, pinks and many varieties of Cottage garden plants in the summer.
A 30ft climbing rose ‘Rambling Rector’ highlights the patio area in late June.
