NEW FOR 2024 ENTERTAINING LIVE AT OUR OPEN DAY FOR NGS AMERICAN COUNTRY AND WESTERN SINGER MICHAEL JAMES who appeared in the BURT REYNOLDS FILM SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. The garden has a number of elements and although it is a relatively small urban garden every bit is crammed full of colour and interest to delight our visitors and demonstrates that size does not always matter. There are areas to sit and take in the sun, a covered area for dining and entertainment with dining table, chairs and a seating area to relax after your barbecue meal. Every inch of this garden is used and is full of surprises and will feast your eyes with colour and hopefully you will leave with ideas for your own treasured space.
The main part of the garden features herbaceous borders specifically to attract insects and pollinators. A gravel pathway to journey through the garden.
The upper part of the garden has been redesigned over the past year and now features a generous waterfall, a number of Acer trees and a seating area where you can sit and watch the birds feed and observe the two working bee hives as well as perennial planting.
The front garden follows the Cottage Garden theme and demonstrates that cars and gardens can co-habit together. During your visit teas will be served in the conservatory along the back of the house with views out to the garden and Michael will entertain you with his extensive catalogue of music.
