About 75 Canonbie Road

A garden with richly planted herbaceous borders, with a profusion of roses, some magnificent woodland trees including a surprisingly tall hawthorn. A large pond (very deep, so care needs to be taken with children) is filled with frogspawn early in the year and surrounded by dense planting including irises, euphorbias and bergenias. Being north east facing brings its own challenges, as does the sloping terrain, nevertheless, the garden offers all year round interest.
The pond at the bottom of the garden has its own elegant patio viewing area under the dappled shade of the mature woodland trees. Look out for the interestingly twisted silver birch that evokes tales from Tolkien.
