Brompton Village Gardens has 4 small town gardens, redesigned by their owners, opening in 2 adjacent streets in historic Brompton. 16 Prospect Row is a plantswoman's garden full of planting to encourage wildlife and with unusual planting. 19 Prospect Row is an elegant Italianate garden. 7 Prospect Row was completely redesigned from scratch after extensive building works and a photographic display shows before and after transformation photos. The planting is now maturing into an elegant colourful garden with a variety of plants complemented by seating areas. 26 Garden Street is a colourful English country garden full of classic planting with summerhouse and relaxed seating areas.

About Brompton Village Gardens

Four very different gardens.

The plants woman’s garden with an emphasis on encouraging wildlife with a pond, and bee-friendly plants. Also unusual plants e.g. grapefruit bush, climbing kiwi, and Chinese root ginger plant.

The new easy maintenance garden was recently re-designed from a family garden into an elegant Italianate garden, with an attractive serpentine pathway through green shrubbery to a summer house.

The colourful garden was re-designed after extensive building works and a photographic display shows the ‘before’ and ‘after’ transformation. The planting in now maturing into an elegant garden with a wide variety of plants, complemented by relaxing seating areas making the most of the sunny aspect.

The English country garden contains the tallest ever hollyhocks (!) along with lavender, hydrangeas, alliums, and agapanthus, and an elegant summer house and relaxed seating areas. Teas will be provided in this garden.
