A stream side garden in the midst of glorious moorland scenery of the Maelienydd in mid Wales.
Approximately 1 acre is gardened and includes a managed species rich meadow with mown paths to wander through, mature herbaceous beds, lawn, a long enclosed semi formal double border featuring rich colour and variety from April until October, a vegetable and cut flower plot with small apiary.
A dew pond full of wildflowers and grasses. There is also a small orchard area and woodland dominated by three veteran oak trees. There are pollinators, butterflies, nesting birds and amphibians in abundance throughout the garden and the surrounding moorland and stream are classified SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).
