Grove Manor

Grove Manor, a Victorian farmhouse is surrounded by natural gardens reflecting its past. Close to the house are lawns, herbaceous beds and a shady fernery. Home to moorhens and ducks, the farm pond has recently been dredged and replanted. The moat is a haven for wildlife and borders the orchard and composting area (the engine room). Beyond are the newly established veg and cutting beds.

About Grove Manor

Grove Manor is the home of garden designer, Deborah Anderson and her husband Philip Whitaker. They have recently begun renovating the garden after a long period where it was left to its own devices. Each month brings changes, so there is always something new to see. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy different views of the garden with a cup of tea, whether it be in the shady woodland area beside the ferns, on the patio surrounded by flowers or overlooking the farm pond.
