Hattergreen Alley

Hattergreen Alley is the name lovingly given to the alleyway shared by Halstead Avenue, Attercliffe Road and Ivy Green Road, in Chorlton. The alley became closed to the public in 2011 as part of the Alley gating Public Space Protection Orders. Since then, the alleyway has been given new life and is now a communal play place for kids, a place to grow fruit and vegetables and even home to a chicken.
