There is an authentic Finnish barbecue cabin, a hidden Alice in Wonderland themed area and vegetable plot.

About Hill Cottage

A delightful garden in Llandrindod Wells designed and developed over the past 37 years on a formerly derelict ¾ acre site by the architect owner and his wife. Although in Llandrindod Wells town the garden is peaceful and secluded. Shady paths wind past mature trees and shrubs surrounding a lawn, and across a pond via an oriental style bridge. The garden also features an authentic Finnish barbecue cabin as well as a hidden Alice in Wonderland themed area, plus a vegetable plot. Plantings feature rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, ferns and herbaceous flowers. Paved areas and pergolas offer relaxed seating. The design has carefully planned prospects and at every turn oriental themed installations contribute to the beauty and tranquillity.
