Hoveringham Gardens

We would love you to visit Hoveringham - a pretty village by the River Trent which inc a church, a pub and Village Hall, where teas will be served. There are seven gardens, two of which are beautiful, contrasting well established NGS gardens. The two small group gardens are exquisitely planted and inc a Bonsai collection. The three larger traditional gardens inc the rambling grounds of the Hall where Pimms will be served under elegant mature trees on the lawn with sweeping views and a riverside property which boasts a rose garden and Orchid house - the large gardens inc herbaceous borders, rock gardens, ornamental trees, growing areas and greenhouses. There will be Bric-a-Brac/Plant stalls and clog dancing arranged for 2.15pm and 3.30pm. Be sure to look out for a Victorian Orchard, Victorian Water Tower and Greenhouse and, probably, the oldest swing in Notts.
