Main 1 acre garden has plenty of seats for you to take in the atmosphere and varied vistas. A photo board showing the development and aerial views taken in July 2001 & July 2007 are near the house. Various specimen shrubs, plants and trees interspersed with many stone features and eye catchers.
Acquired in 2010, the 5 acres are divided into three fields, the first being developing meadow grass, various small groupings of indigenous trees and over 450 Norwegian spruce, free-range hens and vegetable plot 30x15m with polytunnel. The middle field has a developing grass meadow with wildlife habitat and finally in the furthest field, meadow grass and summerhouse. Cut pathways to walk around the fields which lead to the field hut near the little beck. There are seats strategically placed at points on your walk, to take in the far-reaching views of the Yorkshire Wolds.
