A small group of diverse and contrasting gardens on the outskirts of Liverpool. 47 The Crescent is a suburban garden with gravel, cut flower and courtyard areas. Frank Hornby is said to have been inspired by Maghull Railway Station when creating his model buildings as he lived within sight of the station. His family grave is to be found in the grounds of St Andrew's Church and The Maghull Ancient Chapel, which appears in the 1066 Magna Carta.
