Nightingale Cottage, a small cottage garden has been designed by the owners and surrounds an old barn. There are many pots and cottage type planting inc some vegetables. There are also some surprises of wooden animals made from pruning, steps and hidden seating areas, but no grass. It is a garden which is always evolving as different species self-seed and are often left to grow. In contrast Wyatts, is a large wrap-around garden featuring borders with many varied shrubs and mature trees providing year-round interest inc acers and hydrangeas. There are varying levels and many seating areas with a summerhouse in one corner.
