About Rampisham Manor

In the late 1980s a second generation moved into the Manor and the garden which was rather tired with left overs from previous decades, needed to be extensively redesigned and replanted. This was done over a 30yr period. The garden was gradually taken in hand and extended, maturing gracefully and fulfilling the owners’ visions. The third generation have made changes, renewing the garden in their turn, keeping it fresh and in scale. It is one of those gardens to walk round and round in different directions to keep discovering other parts and vistas.
