Ruloe – 89 Derby Street is an interesting mid Georgian House, the the first house in Ormskirk to be fitted with mains electricity. The house and gardens have been recently renovated in a sympathetic way to reflect the period of the property, while also bringing it more up to date. The garden has an impressive specimen Oak tree, a large Tulip tree, many other shrubs including a Cornus Kousa, topiary forms in containers and interesting large bonsai Maple tree.
The beds are mainly a mixture of bulb and herbaceous perennial planting with two large shaded beds to the front of the property.
The garden has a large koi pond and water planting.
