About Silver Birches

Silver Birches’ has been completely redesigned and transformed from an area of overgrown trees and shrubs and little else.

The house is situated in the middle of the plot and the design is intended to provide a surprise around every corner as you explore. Different areas of interest have been created throughout the garden and winding paths join each area giving a sense of continuity. The small copse at the front of the property has now matured into a shady, wooded walk.

The planting has been chosen to give as much colour as possible throughout the year using leaf and bark colour as well as flowers, featuring contrasting shapes and textures.

The summerhouse is a lovely place to sit as it overlooks the pond which attracts numerous birds and other wildlife. The small rose garden is a major feature and has a secluded arbour from which you can enjoy the many varieties of roses. This is one of several sitting areas from which to view different aspects of the garden.
