Formerly part of Clearwell Castle, the high castle walls provide a backdrop for large rambling roses, clematis, and honeysuckles. An organic garden with a collection of trees, some rare. A large variety of perennials, annuals, and shrubs fill the herbaceous borders providing year round colour and interest. Fernery underplanted with snowdrops, cyclamen and white daffodils. Vegetable garden with raised beds. Wildlife and formal ponds. Rustic pergola planted with English climbing roses. Willow arbour with briar rose and buckthorn hedge in gravel garden. Spring colour provided by daffodils and other bulbs planted under the trees and in the orchard.
