Sunnyside Rural Trust- Berkhamstead

At Berkhamstead located just above the town is Sunnyside’s Activity Centre. There are two rest gardens nestling under mature fruit trees inc a fine specimen of the rare Aylesbury prune. There is a vegetable growing area and extensive cane and espalier fruit garden, with a woodland and hazel coppice, each busy with wildlife. They make delicious jams and chutneys from the fruit and vegetables.

A select range of perennial plants, veg seedlings and herb plants will be available for sale as well as homemade chutneys and jams from their own produce.

Refreshments Home-made teas at Hemel Food Garden and Northchurch sites. The cafes offer hot & cold drinks, cakes & snacks from the farm shop. The Sunnyside Up cafe has vegetarian and vegan lunch options.
