Cross the bridge over the river to enter the Barns garden of about four acres. The area around the house is formal with mixed herbaceous borders, and a rose walk to a small secluded pond. The meandering paths pass small garden rooms and raised beds for vegetables, runs alongside the River Waycock through an orchard of heritage, apple trees, plums, and cherries, and finally through woods, reaches a large pond with water lilies, dragonflies, pontoon with seating and summerhouse. Teas and cakes are available from the house with seating in the herb garden, and a sale of original water colours. NB Unprotected river access, children must be supervised.
