Thatched Cottage

A thatched cottage garden with many varieties of old and David Austin roses interplanted with a wide range of perennials. Several pathways through arches, weave through the garden taking you past a gazebo, a summerhouse and a bridged pond. Raised brick beds host a variety of common and unusual plants. There are many planted pots and hanging baskets.

About Thatched Cottage

A central feature is a Victorian style greenhouse. In the front and back gardens are several trees including an Indian Bean Tree and a number of large shrubs including a collection of hydrangeas. The backdrop to this all is a 17th Century listed thatched cottage (not open).
