The Celebration Garden

The Celebration Garden is accessed through our famous dahlia field. More dahlias are planted in the garden itself with other herbaceous plants and shrubs. There is also a wildflower border with insect hotel and a willow tunnel. The garden is open all year to visit during the garden centre opening hours. It is especially spectacular from July to early autumn when some 5,000 dahlias are in flower.

About The Celebration Garden

The celebration garden was planted in 2015 to celebrate the company’s 60 year of business. Designed by Mrs Hazel Aylett, it is lovingly tended by the team at the Nursery.

Dahlias are planted every summer amongst other herbaceous plants and shrubs and the garden is in full flower from July to early autumn. However, during the rest of the year there is always something taking centre stage. The wildflower border complete with bug hotel is always a place of interest. And for the children there is a spiral grass maze and a willow tunnel to explore.
