The smaller gardens are delightful, the two larger ones have views of the Tees and beyond. The largest garden is a colourful 1½ acres with a sunken garden and rockery and many shrubs. The garden offering refreshments at Dene Lodge is newly restored and is developing with colourful planters but also has wonderful views.
