About The Old Rectory, Brinkley
Two acre garden started in 1973 when there was nothing there except a few large trees and snowdrops. Interesting trees planted since include a large liriodendron (tulip tree) planted in 1975. In the spring, many snowdrops, helebores and winter flowering shrubs. Mixed herbaceous borders with roses, interesting perennials and pockets of exciting annuals grown from seed. Traditional potager with box hedges.
Small woodland area still being developed.
