The White Cottage

Idyllic riverside garden of over an acre adjacent to the River Lea which widens to form the garden boundary. A mix of cottage garden, naturalistic and wild areas make this a haven for wildlife which I love to share with my Airbnb guests as well as the public in support of NGS and other charities. A perfect place to relax with a glass of wine on a summer's evening - bring a picnic too.

About The White Cottage

Sally’s cottage garden reflects her eclectic style. The garden is partially left in a natural wildlife-friendly way with pathways cut through long grasses and willow trees growing alongside the River Lea riverbank. Cottage style planting including lovely rose archway outside Rose Cottage. Fantastic birdlife including kingfishers, herons, moorhens, red kites, buzzards and egrets. The river is monitored by a local wildlife charity who have captured otter on the trail camera!
