Three wonderful cottage gardens and a newly planted garden in Toft. The Gig House: cottage garden with roses, clematis, perennials, cut flower beds and vegetables. Also, plants for natural dyes, dry beds, wildflowers, a small wildlife pond, tiny orchard and plenty of places to sit. Manor Cottage: cottage garden extended and developed by the current owner over 30 yrs. Herbaceous borders, vegetable garden, greenhouse and orchard covering an acre, as well as a paddock and two wooded areas. Borders extended and replanted in 2020 when various grasses, salvias and alliums were added. 21 Comberton Road: the basic concept was conceived before moving in, calling on a wide range of sources and experiences. Four zones in 0.18 acres, 123 taxa, 450 plants; just one afternoon to view this newly planted garden. 2 Eversden Close: perennials and annuals with a pond to encourage nature and a vegetable/fruit growing area set around a 1970's bungalow.
