About Trafalgar House
We have ten gardens within a garden. Each area having its own speciality.
Visitors are given a picture of the garden, with numbered beds, and a list at the back of the sheet of the plant names, in the beds. The times will be between 9.30am – 4.00pm divided into a morning session and an afternoon session. There will be an opportunity to buy Tea/Coffee and cake.
The Allotment: Outside of my front door. The Allotment is a peaceful place to sit, surrounded by espalier fruit trees (Apple, Damson, Plum and Pear) underplanted with highly scented roses and Iris growing in the gravel by your feet. There is a walk way with clematis Prince Charles climbing up, followed by a walkway of sweet peas and eventually runner beans. Raised beds provide me with vegetables throughout the season. There are cordon cherries, and step over apple trees. The Allotment has the most glorious view over Bath.
