An award-winning Chelsea Garden is part of Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s beautiful outside space. Designed by Greenfingers and opened by Alan Titchmarsh in 2016, the tranquil gardens are lovingly tended to by dedicated volunteers. Complementing a variety of flowers and features, the gardens offer a space for social connections, quiet contemplation, reflection and a backdrop for outdoor events.

About Mountbatten Hospice

An award-winning Chelsea Garden is part of Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s beautiful outside space. Designed by Greenfingers and opened by Alan Titchmarsh in 2016, the tranquil gardens are lovingly tended to by dedicated volunteers. Complimenting a variety of flowers and features, the gardens are enjoyed by patients, families, visitors, staff and volunteers, offering a space for social connections, quiet contemplation, reflection and a backdrop for outdoor events.

A garden of tranquility with a variety of interesting planted areas that includes trees, shrubs, herbaceous, grasses, water feature and decking with an abundance of wildlife. Wander from area to area and admire the interesting plantings, or sit and reflect in a quiet corner or take refreshment in the Mountbatten café serving cream teas, cakes and light refreshments.

Halberry Ln is off the A3054 Fairle Rd from either Newport or Ryde. Or from Staplers Rd take Cross Ln to Halberry Ln. Bus 9 from Ryde or Newport. Bus 5 from East Cowes.
