This month has seen our first ever Great British Garden Party take place. Despite the new “rule of six” guidelines which came into place on Monday 14th September, our generous party hosts have been creative and developed ingenious ways to hold an event whilst adhering to the guidelines, to raise funds to help support our nurses. You can still get involved and boost their efforts by making a donation.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to share your own outdoor space – whatever it’s like – to remind yourself what a huge comfort it has been in recent months and to share those memories with friends, family and neighbours. Every penny will help, big or small. I’ll be hosting my own tea party with my family and friends. Make cakes, have fun and help us to support these wonderful nursing charities.” Mary Berry
Right now, your support could not be more important. All funds raised from The Great British Garden Party will help fund vital nursing charities, ensuring critical support for nurses who remain on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic and who need our help more than ever. Whether you raise £5 or £500, every pound will make a real difference to people’s lives.
Once you have held your event, there are a number of ways you can pay in the money you raise – so choose the one that’s easiest for you. Thank you so much for taking part.
